4% interest offered for Help to Buy ISAs

First-time buyers are set to be offered interest rates as high as 4% by saving into the government’s new ‘Help to Buy’ Isa scheme. Amazon reports record Black Friday sales

Black Friday was Amazon’s biggest sales day ever in the UK with more than six million items ordered. This beats the sales record set on Black Friday 2014 when more than 5.5 million items were sold at a rate of around 64 items per second. Jack Garratt wins Brits Critics’ Choice Award

Forbes’ Magazine has published a list of the biggest film flops of the year. Rock the Kasbah, starring Bill Murray is in first place, while The Gunman, starring and co-written by Sean Penn, was second. Foo Fighters release Paris EP

Foo Fighters have released an EP dedicated to the victims of the Paris attacks. The band were forced to cancel a gig in the French capital last week after 130 people died on November 13th. They’ve also collaborated in the past with Eagles of Death Metal, the band performing at the Bataclan Theatre when gunmen burst in. Daniel Sturridge has suffered a fresh injury setback after a foot problem kept him out of the Europa League clash against Bordeaux.
